Centrifugal Feeder Systems

For automated assembly, part movement in a repeatable and rapid manner is key. At Fortville Feeders, we offer the choice of non vibrating, centrifugal feed systems. It is a non-vibrating System with a direct drive motor that powers a round disc (or discs) to produce singulated output. Unlike the Vibratory Feeder, the Variable Speed D.C. Motor Drive provides the additional "inches per minute" required for high rate applications. High feed rate is not the only advantage they offer. With unit sizes ranging from 10" to 60", they are utilized in feeding and parts handling solutions in a wide range of industries.

The advantages of a centrifugal feed system are numerous for those who place an importance in fragile and gentle care requiring parts, quieter operations, and low maintenance... all the while seeking high throughput of parts in addition to automation.

Features		We build our own “Basic Feeder Bowls.” This allows Fortville to totally custom design the feeder bowl from the very beginning, providing complete control over all customer specifications. Feeder Bowl “Quick Dump” feature will evacuate the entire track for rapid discharge of all parts. Surlyn® Coating for a cleaner, aesthetically pleasing feeder system. Bolt on quick-change orientation devices and selectors providing rapid part changeover Lift-off or hinged sound enclosure doors and panels providing unobstructed access to feeder bowl tooling Capped-off return pan to reduce part cross contamination Easy access quick dump feature, allowing for rapid part removal providing rapid part changeover All Fortville feeder bowls are built in adequate size to allow the parts to move up tracks, designed with minimum pitch.
